In the Forza Motorsport update 1.0 and 1.1 article, I told you about the upcoming Forza Motorsport community update 2.0. Well, it's here! And good news, there are several bugs fixed, and new content has been released. From now on, we can drive on the amazing Yas Marina track in Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, there are more career events, earn reward cars, and there are new multiplayer events. But more importantly, we are getting rid of a lot of bugs that were causing instability. Whether it was lag, PC-related issues, or problems with the livery – Forza made a serious effort to better our gaming experience.
Let’s have a look at the changes!
Let’s start with the content. Forza hasn’t been idle since the last patch. They have created a variety of content to reengage the interest in the game. Below you will find a highlight of some of the biggest content addons. Afterward, we will look at smaller or specific additions.
On to the specifics!
If we are honest, content wasn't the issue with Forza Motorsport. It was the numerous crashes and instability that caused a lot of frustration with its fanbase. Forza has made a serious effort to resolve the instability issues, lag issues, and wheel-specific problems. I’ve made a clear overview below about the fixes. Mind you, this is a summary of all the fixes. The actual list can be found here on Forza Motorsport.
Forza announced that the Forza Motorsport Community Update 2.0 would be larger and more impactful than the 1.0 & 1.1 update. They kept their word, as many instability issues have been addressed. As a sweetener, we also have new content to discover and the Yas Marinas circuit to test our maximum pace. However, not everything is fixed. There are still issues that need to be resolved, but those issues are becoming more specific rather than general issues like we had before. This is a good step in the right direction for Forza Motorsport.
